The job holder will be responsible for system design, implementation and production support for the Departmental Cloud Infrastructure.

The job holder will be seconded to our clients of public sector to provide the following IT services:

• Involve in system design, implementation, and production support for the department’s Cloud Infrastructure,
• Collaborate with users and vendors on new platform rollout,
• Deploy new platform and involve migration existing applications,
• Design, build, test and manage production, development, testing as well as disaster recover planning for the deployment of computing platforms,
• Perform other job duties related to IT security (software, hardware, network) as well as technical support for QC, QA and project management as directed by senior officers.

You are required to fulfil the below requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology/Computer Science, or equivalent;
• Minimum 4 years post qualification IT experience;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in production support on new system deployment or similar capacity; 
• Proven experience in the following technologies and skills:
  • Management of servers, SAN storages, SAN switches, etc.
  • Cloud Computing (VMWare virtualization environment)
  • Data Protection Software (Veritas Backup Exe, Veeam Backup & Replication)
  • Server Monitoring (SolarWinds Virtualization Manager) 
  • Server Management
  • Disaster Recover Planning
  • IT Security, etc.
